The OnBoard Programme is a free programme that supports people in the first ten years of their career to build the skills, confidence and connections needed to step into trustee and board roles.
Over course of the programme, you’ll receive:
Supportive, expert-led governance training to help you step into board roles with confidence
One-to-one mentoring
Networking opportunities
Exposure to real board roles
The programme is open to people from all professional and life backgrounds and is designed to fit around your existing work and commitments.

Focus Group and Interview:
School Exclusions or Suspensions

We are currently working with the Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) and the Behavioural Insights Team (BIT) to understand what happens after a school suspension or exclusion and how to better support children and families.
We’re looking for children and young people who have been suspended or excluded, and parents or carers of children who have been suspended or excluded in England or Wales.
Focus Group: One 90-minute session (£60)
Interview: One 60-minute session (£50)
Your contributions will help to shape recommendations that make support fairer and more effective.

Community Facilitator:
Lived Experiences of Policing and Criminal Justice

We're building a network of London-based facilitators to lead small group discussions on policing, criminal justice, and community relationships.
You'll create safe spaces where community members and professionals can share perspectives and build understanding across differences.
You'll need lived experience of policing or criminal justice, whether through your own encounters (positive or negative), family or close friends' experiences, or through advocacy and community leadership.
No formal qualifications needed, just the ability to facilitate with confidence and care.
This is a paid role: £325 a day. Training provided.

Ways to get involved

Join an exploration lab with a small group of people to answer questions in a moderated setting. You will discover new information, ideas, or solutions in a particular feel.

Join a co-creation group working with researchers on the design and implementation of research to ensure relevance.

Engage in collaborative activities like brainstorming, group discussions, skill-building exercises, and hands-on projects to achieve specific learning or problem-solving objectives.

Help review some materials, this could be a report, a website or a flyer.

Take a survey which could come in various forms, including written questionnaires, phone or online interviews, or face-to-face interviews.

Be interviewed by a team member on a subject.
