“Knowing where Milk Honey Bees has come from, we are so thankful to the community for believing in us and our vision. H.E.R Space is more than just an initiative - it is a home for the many Black / Mixed Black girls in Lambeth and Southwark who deserve a space of belonging, safety and hope. This support reminds us why we do this work and fuels our commitment to creating spaces where Black girls can grow, express themselves, and be truly seen. We are beyond excited to continue amplifying our work and working with local community members in Lambeth and Southwark to create a community where Black girls can thrive"

“Being selected as one of the first THINC Fund recipients is deeply meaningful to me. My work in maternity is driven by lived experience, compassion and a desire for change. This opportunity empowers me to amplify the voices of families and help shape safer, more equitable maternity care for my local community.”

“As London Manager at Girls United this is an unbelievable opportunity for us to be able to use local funding to continue to help the local community. It is an exciting moment to realise that our community and wider community have been able to vote and support our campaign in making football access to more by removing financial and social barriers. We are excited to work with others in the THINC Fund and ensure that our community is able to use every opportunity that can come from this collective.”

"It’s an honour to be part of the THINC Fund cohort. This support gives space to test new ideas rooted in care, community and creativity — and to centre the voices of young people too often excluded from mainstream support. PECKHAM LARGE GRANTEE
-
“We’re incredibly proud to be among the first groups chosen for the THINC Fund pilot. For Peckham Soup Kitchen, this support means we can grow "Up The Path" with more coaching, more youth tournaments, and more opportunities for our young people.
It also allows us to launch our Boot Bins to upcycle donated football boots, tackling football boot poverty, while keeping usable boots out of landfill. We’ll be starting our youth-led podcast, giving young people a platform to speak, share, and be heard. The THINC Fund is helping us create real change for the youth of Peckham.”

“I’m genuinely grateful for the opportunity created by the CVR community and for being selected as part of the first THINC Fund pilot. This support means a lot because it’s coming from people who understand the area and the challenges that come with building something locally. I see this as a chance to give something back, to create real impact in my community, and hopefully the first of many projects that grow from that support. It’s motivating to move forward knowing locals are backing a project designed to make a positive difference close to home.”
-
“Being among the first recipients of the pilot THINC Fund is an honor. It feels like our children matter and can make a difference to their future if they put the hard work in. This shows them that people care about them and want them to succeed.”

“Absolutely thrilled to be among the first successful candidates! This isn't just a movement, it's a lifestyle. Huge thanks to everyone who believes in me. Let's dive in and Build with Bee! Bring on 2026!”
