We were commissioned by the Blood Cancer Alliance on a project to identify areas where minority ethnic communities with a blood cancer diagnosis face challenges or specific unmet needs, including: their journey to diagnosis, treatment options and experience, and their access to support.

For this project, we established a co-creation group of people with lived experience of blood cancer to inform and advise on the research project.

As part of this project, we conducted a survey and several exploration labs to gather insights and in-depth knowledge about the experiences of people from ethnic minority communities who have or have had a blood cancer diagnosis.

Our report has been used to inform policy development and advocacy, as taken forward by the fifteen UK charities involved in the alliance.

Please find a downloadable copy of the report here: Blood Cancer Patient Experience for Black, Asian and other Ethnic Minority patients
