£400,000 to Improve Health in Brixton and Peckham
The THINC Brixton and Peckham Fund puts local people in charge of deciding how charitable money is spent in their communities. It supports projects that tackle health inequalities in the area.
The fund is led by a Community Board made up of residents from Brixton and Peckham, chosen through a lottery to ensure real, diverse voices shape every decision. With guidance from CVR Community, local people lead, decisions are transparent, applicants get support to bring ideas to life, and the community has the final say.
This is a pilot. It’s not perfect, but it’s real, local, and focused on making health and wellbeing better for everyone.
